Growing up in New Orleans, Christin trained in all forms of dance with a focus on Jazz Technique as well as Modern/Contemporary. Christin was fortunate enough to dance alongside and study under the direction of some of the most knowledgeable dance experts, such as Mia Michaels, Sonya Tayeh, Nick Watkins, Joe Lanteri, plus many more who helped mold her into the teacher and choreographer she is today. For over ten years, Christin Amedee has provided an exceptional, intensely designed training experience in the competitive dance circuit. Choreography and students under the education of Christin have been on television shows like America's Got Talent, Live To Dance, So You Think You Can Dance, So You Think You Can Dance: Next Generation, World of Dance, and more. Many other of her students have gone on to study at some of the top Arts programs possible. Schools like The Juilliard School, Marymount Manhattan College, NYU, and more. Teaching nationally and internationally, Christin’s strengths include Contemporary, Jazz, Progressive Technique and Improv. Her goal is to instill an incredible work ethic while nurturing the willingness to explore one's individuality as a performer. With a focus on strong technique and original style.
