Kelsey Ottley, MFA

Dance Instructor

Kelsey grew up in San Diego, CA where she studied classical ballet, pointe, pas de deux, and modern dance.  At age 17, Kelsey joined Houston Ballet II where she performed new works by Stanton Welch and was awarded a Tiger Woods Scholarship. Kelsey went on to earn her BFA in Ballet from the University of Utah and performed principal roles with Utah Ballet, taking her to Seoul and Tokyo for two International Galas.  In 2012, Ms. Ottley received her MFA in Dance from UC Irvine, where she was a Medici Scholar under the mentorship of Forsythe-ballerina Jodie Gates.  Kelsey has performed for six holiday seasons with Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, three spring contracts with San Diego Opera, and has originated roles by Gregory Dawson of LINES Ballet.  She has also been featured as a dancer and actress in multiple music videos, commercials, print ads, and tv/film projects for brands like Bose, got milk?, Hennessy, Kia, Garmin, and Capitol Federal.  Kelsey is currently a ballet dancer and stilt walker with Quixotic and is thrilled to be joining The Pulse faculty!
