Meghan was born and raised in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and grew up dancing in the Kansas City area since the age of 3! Meghan danced competitively starting at age 9 and traveled all over the country with Studio J. She joined her high school dance team, Lee’s Summit North - Northern Stars as a freshman where she danced on Varsity through her senior year! After high school, Meghan made the journey to Springfield, Missouri where she auditioned for the Sugar Bears dance team. Meghan danced for the Sugar Bears for 4 years cheering at athletic events and competing at UDA Nationals in Orlando Florida each year (Ranked Top 10 nationally). While at Missouri State, Meghan earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree. By the end of college, Meghan knew she wanted to dance professionally, so she auditioned for the Chiefs Cheerleaders dance team. Meghan cheered for the Chiefs for two seasons and was blessed to cheer at Super Bowl LIV! Meghan just recently retired from Chiefs Cheer and is continuing her education working towards a Master of Science in Literacy Education degree, while teaching 3rd grade at a local charter school here in Kansas City. Meghan is incredibly excited to stay involved with the dance community in her hometown and is thrilled to start her first season on faculty at The Pulse Performing Arts Center!
